ATLANTA XPLOSION Partners with GEORGIA FORCE for 2nd Annual ATLANTA XPLOSION NIGHT
April 11, 2006 - For the second consecutive year, the Atlanta Xplosion
will play an exhibition scrimmage during half-time of the Georgia Force
game on April 22. Also included is a tug-of-war between the Xplosion
and the Atlanta Roller Girls, flat-track All-female roller derby quad-skate
team shortly after the Force game. The ladies will be available
during the post game for autographs. The game is at Philips Arena,
and will be broadcasted on OLN Network. One of the Atlanta Xplosion's center,
Melissa Eubanks, will be singing the National Anthem.
The Xplosion is a member of the Independent Women's Football League (IWFL),
and the South's most successful, full-contact, all-female football team.
The Xplosion finished the 2005 regular season undefeated (10-0) on its way
to a heartbreaking 2-point loss in the National Championship.
